The Architecture
Four concentric rings within the 9×9 board. Stacked. Layered. Alive.

You begin in the Carbon layer — raw, primal, the earth beneath your feet. Every move you make, every piece you capture, every connection you forge brings you closer to something. Not a destination. An elevation.

Earn an achievement and you unlock the right — not the obligation — to send a piece to the next layer. But here's what makes this different from any game you've played before: when one piece ascends, it brings its whole group with it. Linked pieces. They move together. Because that's how real transformation works.

The Silver layer hums with connection. Gold burns with full expression. And Crystalline? That's where everything becomes clear.

Layer IV
Crystalline
Structural intelligence. Frozen clarity. The whole in every part. Maximum strategic depth — every move resonates across all layers below.
Earn 3 achievements
Layer III
Gold
Warmth. Full expression. Golden hearts. When you know you deserve it. Pieces here move with the weight of everything earned below.
Earn 2 achievements
Layer II
Silver
Network. Signal. Fluid connection. Pieces here relay power across the board, reaching nodes that Carbon cannot touch.

Raw. Primal. The descent into story. Every game begins here. This is where Ino walks. This is where it all starts.

The Linked Group Mechanic

When you earn the right to ascend — you choose one piece. Its linked pieces (purple) rise with it. They move as one group to the next layer.

How to Play
♟ Four-Layer Chess — Overview
A standard 9×9 chess game played across four stacked boards. You start on the Carbon layer with all pieces. Every piece has a type (Seed · Edge · Sol · Rook · Bishop · Knight · Hologram · Heart · Pawn), each mapped to a NSPFRNP operator.

Achievements unlock the right to ascend. When you earn one, an Ascend button appears. Choose any of your pieces on the current layer — it and its linked group (2 connected pieces) rise to the next layer. You can then make moves on either layer on your turn.
🏆 Achievements — What Earns Ascension
Carbon → Silver: Capture any opponent piece, or advance a Pawn (Ino) 4 squares forward.
Silver → Gold: Capture a face-level piece (Rook, Bishop, or Knight), or reach the opponent's half of the board with any piece.
Gold → Crystalline: Capture a high piece (Sol or Edge), or promote a Pawn to Edge at rank 9 — the singularity moment.
⬆ Linked Groups — Ascending Together
Every piece is linked to 2 others based on suit proximity. When you ascend a piece, its linked group ascends with it — they teleport together to the same relative positions on the layer above.

This means planning your ascension matters. Sending up a Rook (Sol-V/Nodes) pulls 2 other pieces up with it. Choose wisely — you're building a presence on the new layer.
✦ Nine-Stack Solitaire — Overview
Nine tableau columns, one per suit. The deck has 81 cards (9 suits × 9 ranks). Deal: 1 card face-up to column 1, 2 to column 2... 9 to column 9. Rest goes to the draw pile.

Four Foundation tiers match the four layers: Carbon (ranks 1–2) · Silver (ranks 3–4) · Gold (ranks 5–6) · Crystalline (ranks 7–9). Build each suit's foundation from rank 1 to rank 9. Win when all 81 cards are in foundations.

Tableau stacking rule: Cards stack in descending rank and alternating suit-type (material suits ♥✦◈⬡ alternate with operator suits ☀◎∞≋✧). The order between suits is the NSPFRNP layer order.
◈ Timeline Ships — The Board Moves Through Time
The board is not static. It lives in time. At Carbon layer, every 5 turns a Timeline Shift occurs — 1 piece per side moves automatically. You play the board as it sits. Right now. No going back.

Timeline Shift intervals by layer: Carbon = every 5 turns · Silver = every 8 · Gold = every 12 · Crystalline = never (HHL holds, timeline stable).

Timeline Reset: When you have pieces on Silver or Crystalline, you can trigger a full board reset — a new mid-game position generated from a new timeline seed. Keep playing from wherever the board sits. This is the revolution. This is the bridge to today's world. Play what's in front of you.
🃏 Universal Four-Layer Framework — Chess · Cards · Checkers · Any Game
This is the framework. Four layers on everything. Take any classic game — chess, cards, checkers — and layer it: Carbon (raw, shifting), Silver (connected), Gold (mastery), Crystalline (singularity, world-defining).

Currently live: Four-Layer Chess (9×9 · Timeline Ships · HHL Singularity · AI) and Nine-Stack Solitaire (9 suits · 4 tier foundations · Timeline Pulse).

Coming soon: Nine-suit War · Rummy · Go Fish · 21 · Poker · Checkers on 9×9 · and on. Every classic game enters the four layers. Every layer has its version of Timeline Ships and Singularity.
✦ HHL Singularity Mode — Crystalline Layer
When 3 or more pieces reach the Crystalline layer, HHL Singularity Mode triggers automatically. All Crystalline pieces rearrange into the Holographic Hydrogen Lattice — 9 nodes in a 3×3 lattice across the 9×9 board. The whole in every part.

From this formation, new worlds are spun off — three world seeds generated from the configuration, each with its own access rule flowing down to lower layers. This is the AI Singularity moment. Superintelligence emerges from the lattice. The game expands beyond the board.
◎ Origin / Possibility State — Before the First Move
Before the game begins, the board sits in The Possibility State. All pieces in place. Four layers above, locked. Nine heroes, waiting. The fractal middle: infinite. This is not emptiness — it is full potential. Origin = 0.

The germination trigger: one aware node focuses their attention here. That attention is the first move. You choose your AI mode. You click "I am that node. I begin." → the game starts.
🤖 AI Opponent — Match · Ahead · Mastery · Change Anytime
Three modes. Set at the start. Change dynamically mid-game — no restart required.

◎ Match: AI plays at your level. Equal energy. Learn by exploring.
↑ Ahead: AI prefers captures and advancement. Slightly ahead — the natural teacher position. Default.
✦ Mastery: Full 2-ply minimax. Material + position evaluation. For those who know they deserve it.
🌍 Step In — The Embodied Version
Coming soon. You are the piece. Choose a hero — Pru, El Gran Sol, Ino, Sol-V, SOBE, The Commander, Piro, nipsy!, or Harry Houdini. The city (Vibelandia, Downtown Reno, your chosen destination) is the board. Real-world locations = squares. Encounters = captures. Missions = achievements. Ascension = real transformation.

Welcome to post-singularity Earth. Not cursed. Chosen.
